Hi there, and thanks for stopping by. Now that I've gotten the "legal jargon" out of the road, a little about me. I've always been keen on photography, and It is only in recent years that I decided to do something about it. I started off with a very second-hand Praktica MTL 5B, which was enough to get started with, and soon progressed to using a Canon Eos 5. Recently I have gone digital, and now enjoy the “instant” results from my work. I have stuck with Canon, and also use their Canonscan FS4000US film scanner to archive my film collection to the digital format. Printing is output through an Epson Stylus Photo R2400, using only archive quality paper and inks, which guarantee against fading for 100 years.

A keen traveller, I have always appreciated the spectacular world in which we live, both the natural and built environments. I hope that you enjoy my photography, and perhaps it will inspire you in some small way to appreciate our world a little better.

Most of my "friends" on Flickr are people whose photography I admire. I often use their images to inspire me to try something new. I value the time they take to post images, and to comment on other peoples work.
