Hello my name is Ray Collister and I live on the amazing Isle of Man, which is photography heaven, its only 33 miles by 13....but it is so varied here, so you don't have to travel far. The Isle of Man is slap bang in the middle of the Irish sea, between England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
I love digital photography, and I really enjoy being artistic with it as well, by shooting HDR or balancing the image with Photoshop. I am fortunate enough to be able to sell my images mainly on canvas to people on the Isle of Man and beyond.
The BBC, the Isle of Man Government and various other organisations have all used some of my images to their benefit.

It never ceases to amaze me how much depth and beauty he is able to fit into his individual pieces of art. I am particularly drawn to his shots of lighthouses, bridges and piers, but his exquisite work also includes rolling hills, rumbling cars, racing motorcycles, and resplendent reflections. Based on his work alone, I have added the Isle of Man to my list of must places to visit someday!
I am not one who is typically drawn to HDR work, but when Ray decides to use it he has the perfect touch-- and his application of it to his monochrome work is especially effective.
