Hello there! Welcome to my Flickr world!

I’ve enjoyed taking pictures my whole life, but have always suffered from the “I don’t bring my camera enough places” syndrome (unless it’s a disposable camera). Is there any one else out there like that? Especially since I have a nice digital camera now, but even before – I’m always either afraid I’m going to lose my camera or I don’t want to be bothered with trying to keep track of it. As a result, I’ve ended up with a lot of pictures of the pets and just around the house, etc. And of course, on vacations – I always have my camera close at hand.

I’ve been taking pictures ever since I can remember. Some have surprised me with how good they came out, others have just been so/so, some have been down right terrible. I’ve always attempted to find the creative, interesting and artistic shot, but that hasn’t always been easy to find – especially back in the day of film cameras when you really didn’t know what you were actually getting.

I have cameras everywhere - an 8MP camera in my iPhone 4S, an Olympus StylusTough-6020 and a Canon Rebel XTi - as well as some older digital cameras that I don't use anymore.

As for my life outside of pictures, I’ve lived up and down the eastern seaboard with a few years spent in Texas as well. I’ve lived in Virginia (multiple separate times), Georgia, Texas, New York, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Massachusetts (I think that’s it). And no, before you ask - I wasn’t a military brat. My dad is in the Navy Reserves, but it was changes in his civilian job that sent us wandering all around. It made for an interesting childhood, if not hard at times. Being the new kid every three years or so really isn’t that much fun. But I got to experience a lot of different places and things and cultures, so that part was kinda cool!!

Now I am a commercial lending paralegal living in Norfolk and working in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
