Im 59yo and disabled, mostly cofined to using a power wheelchair. Diabetes has just about beat me up. Im in End Stage Renal Disease, meaning my kidneys have totally failed. I have to be on dialysis 3 days a week to stay alive. The diabetes also affected my feet and recent i had to have a partial foot amputation to get rid of the infection. Yeah, I know, you probably thinking this guy is a mess! In one way I am but because Im diligent with treatments and meds, i actually feel better now than i did in many years.

So, photography is my big enjoyment and it really takes my mind of the other issues. End Stage is generally fatal but i have been beating it for over 4 years.
