I ride my bike everyday. I work my ass off. My family is numero uno. I love tap dancing, violins, documentaries, maps, self-portraiture, making custom, home-made books for people, lifting weights like a man, having caveman hair, males in general, babies, Mennonites, farmers, friendships from when I was 15, self-sufficiency, contributing something to those who need it, and even though it isn’t always logical, I AM SO HAPPY TO BE ALIVE. 24/7.

I don't photograph myself because I'm vain; I do it because I can CONTROL THE SUBJECT.

I use a Nikon D300 with an AF-S DX VR NIKKOR 18-200mm zoom lens and a 50mm f/1.4D lens and a few misc lenses from my Nikon SLR. Barely touched my Lensbaby Muse. Recently started back in film because digital feels empty a lot of times. I have a toy fisheye film camera and my old Nikon N80.

Other cameras I have, mostly retired: Nikon D50, Panasonic DMC-FZ20, Olympus point-n-shoot, Agfa Optima I, Nikon EM, Minolta something….
