R bought me my brand new DSLR for my birthday this August 2007! My Canon EOS 30D is a bit awkward to carry with me everywhere, but I'm learning how to use it pretty quickly! (Instruction manuals never do me much good, I just have to tinker!) I'm still fumbling around with Flickr, trying to figure out how to use the site, so give me a bit of time to figure out what I'm doing!

This Flickr will host the photographs I've taken from Team Empire's tournaments and competitions! I'll hopefully be able to write little descriptions for each picture, with R's help, because I'm not fully knowledgeable about Grappling/MMA as he is. I think I'll also be posting our Urban Exploration (UEing) photos here, I'm not sure yet.

Current and Upcoming Projects:
-Arcade Machine (every video game nerd's fantasy)
-Working on editing and putting up past tournament and gym photos...
-Selecting UE photographs to put up.
-Photographing the house after I clean it up and get it redecorated.
-Sewing Halloween Pillows and making crafts.

A Little About M and R:
Ages: Over a quarter of a century, that's all you need to know!
Pets: Sacha (dog), Mia, Murdock, and Oliver (cats), Yume-kun (Jardini Arowana).
Married? Yes, finally, but we'd been together twelve years and we considered ourselves married despite the lack of paperwork!
Interests:
R: Electronics, Computers, Technology, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), many things Horror genre, Foreign films, European Folk, European Metal, Industrial, HP Lovecraft, eating M's cooking.
M: Nerdy things, photography, art, reading, writing, cute animals, MMA, cleaning, cooking, gardening, decorating the house, eating, flower arrangement, bellydancing, taking care of R and Team Empire's boys!
Personalities and little things:
R: Quiet and near-silent, observant, highly intelligent, introvert, Philosphy major, with a Sociology minor, loves tinkering, plays Battlefield (an FPS). Favourite games: Resident Evil series, classic arcade games like Rampage, Mario Cart, and Princess Peach.
M: Friendly, cheerful, engaging, slightly more extrovert, procrastinator unless motivated, loves taking care of people, plays WoW. Favourite games: Silent Hill 1 and 2, Tetris Attack, Gem Fighter, and Yoshi's Island.
Both: Prefer smaller social gatherings/few people, a quieter, calmer, more intimate atmosphere, such as coffee shops or dark restaurants, watching scary movies in the dark, playing videogames, collecting weird toys/things, Urban Exploration, Fall, cold, rainy weather other people would call dreary, October, Halloween!
Do we drink/smoke? We like keeping our bodies healthy and clean, but on the rare occasion we're out in a social situation, we might just indulge a tiny bit.

Did you know?
R is horribly allergic to corn...
M has scotopic dyslexia and doesn't see/comprehend/translate certain colours...Luckily she has R to tell her when she's going out wearing a dark blue shirt with black pants, and a dark green jacket.
R started training at Empire Academy in February 2007. Previous to that, worked hard to lose over forty pounds of weight to get in shape! He has no prior martial arts training whatsoever, and was in band all throughout high school.
M really wishes she had that kind of discipline, though she does have really strong forearms and hands from giving massages!
R and M were both born with blonde hair and blue eyes :)
R has difficulty reading traditional clock faces, but if you give him coordinates like, Bogey at five o'clock! he knows what you're talking about.
M, despite being Asian, sucks really bad at math.
