I flickr for fun. It's a bit of a journal. It is a place to share some fun moments and some of the places I have been to. I take a fair amount of photos while traveling, and sometimes I bring the camera out on my bicycle, to capture the ride.

I am not a professional photographer but I do work in design. I am a graphic/industrial designer. Most of my photos are not about what I do for work. Here I take photos for myself without any motivation for money, which makes it more liberating.

As a cyclist and competitive bike racer I race primarily in the Northwest, US as a Cat 2 on the road and Expert on a Mountain Bike.

I have also discovered Flickr maps, it is fun to find the place on the map, and catalog pictures. Please go ahead and check out the footprints, I am making along the way. Pictures are mostly in the Western US and Western Canada. With a few on the East Coast.
