I won a point and shoot Fuji in a contest in 2006, just before I took a trip to Europe. I took lots and lots and lots of pictures, and some of them actually came out good. I loaned the camera to my daughter last year, and she broke it. Good thing. I got a somewhat better camera,. I still had no idea what I was doing, but the pictures came out better.
Then I posted to my first Flickr group. A kind Flickr member, named auzriell, gave me f advice on how to improve my pictures and my views, and for that I am grateful.
I study your photos. I look at those I like and wonder, how did he/she do that? I am trying to learn from other Flickr members and I think I am gradually improving.
I've recently upgraded to a "bridge" camera, and am eager to go out and try it
Thank you, all of you Flickr members out there. It is because of you that my photography is improving. Someday I might even be satisfied with my work!
