I enjoy amateur photography and started out as a child photographing insects and plastic models/dioramas using a Pentax ME Super. After college, I got into hiking and landscape photography and purchased a new SLR (Canon EOS Elan). I actually learned how to use Adobe Photoshop through work and discovered that digital editing was just as rewarding as photography. Thus, I sold my Elan and bought a Canon G2 digital camera and have never looked back. I immediately began missing the power of the SLR, so as the prices dropped, I picked up the Canon Digital Rebel XT and now the Canon 40D. I am open for suggestions, tips.
