The basic story: The visual and the emotional are integrally connected for me. Photography isn't just documentary and history, it's creating and sharing things that move us in some way. Photography has given me a way to show others what I see and feel.

I like light, shape, color. Texture, angles, and shadows are good too.

In a place where bright colors and bold designs are what gets noticed, Sue stays true to her vision. Hers are "quirky little compositions" that at first, may not be easy to understand or appreciate. But when you do, they are visual symphonies of the world around her. Mudane subjects like old tires become works of art in her camera lens.
