I love being out in nature and I enjoy birding and photography. I have lived in Central Florida for most of my life and all of the photos on my site were taken here. Some of my photos aren't great from a technical aspect but they may be shots of things that are rare or unusual to a lot of people. And I am definitely not above posting a less-than-stellar photo if I can get a laugh out of it. ;)
Most of these photos were taken with a 6.3 megapixel Canon Digital Rebel and a Canon EF 75-300 IS lens. The autofocus didn't work well on that camera, so almost all of those shots were manually focused. I recently got a Rebel XSi. All of my shots are handheld because I'm too lazy to haul a tripod around. Ha!
All of my photos are copyrighted and none of my photos may be used without my permission. All of the photos on my Flickr page are reduced in size and/or image quality. If you see something you like, please contact me. I'd love to hear from you.
