A fan of photography since the age of 13, which was, well, a few years ago (now the wrong side of 40). One day I'll improve! Although, having seen the high standard of photos on Flickr, I realise just how much I still have to learn.

I like landscape and cityscape photography, flowers and macro work. People, I'm not so good at. My wife says I always manage to make her look awful. A gross exaggeration, but I do need more practice in this area.

I'm starting to get interested in HDRs, but I've not had much success with CS3. Since my wife generously bought Photomatix for my birthday, I've found a big improvement, even though I'm just learning.

I've been using Photoshop since release 3.01 and now I'm on CS3 and Lightroom. Most of what I've learned over the years has been self-taught or due to the publications of Deke McClelland and Scott Kelby - thanks, guys.

And I bow deeply to those clever people at Adobe Systems. Photoshop and Lightroom have provided an outlet for my creativity (such as it is).
