I am a hockey fan. You may have guessed that if you’ve been browsing my photostream. If I’m not taking pictures of others playing hockey then I may be on the ice with one of the three teams I play with at the Ashburn Icehouse or the Reston Skatequest arenas here in northern Virginia. I’ve been playing hockey for over 10 years now and I believe it’s what helps me shoot the game. I know where the action is going to happen next. I have had a great time shooting the Capitals practices at Kettler Capitals Iceplex (not a bad place to play either) and some of those photos have been used on the NHL Fanhouse web page.

I am also a fan of aviation. Again, if you’ve looked through my photostream, this most likely isn’t news to you. I live next to Dulles International Airport (KIAD) and am a Docent (free tour guide) at the National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center that is located on the southern edge of the Dulles property.
