I have really grown to love photography over the last few years and it has given me new reasons to enjoy travel, days out and the never-ending quest to improve. I love the technical side too and trying to understand and master new techniques. I consider that I have a good technical understanding but woeful artistic ability!
I get quite a few enquiries about photography techniques and equipment, especially regarding macro so I have set up a blog at clifb.blogspot.com/ (Loving the Light) where I am progressively placing information and discussion on how I work, equipment and technique and personal thoughts.
I still have my Nikon FG20 35mm camera from 1985 in perfect working order! After a dabble in digital compacts I now have a shedload of Nikon kit including D80, D300, D700 and a variety of lenses from Nikon, Tokina, Sigma and Carl Zeiss. I also own 2 pinhole cameras and a plastic Holga 120 film camera
