I am a professor by trade; a photographer in stolen minutes; a mother to twins every minute of the day.

I'm married to a wonderful man who realizes that I'm a nicer person when, during the few minutes of free time I have I'm photographing and noodling around in Photoshop rather than mopping the ever dirtier kitchen floor, and he doesn't harass me about it. I think I got really lucky. :)

I adore photography -- the challenge of it, and through sites like flickr and shutter sisters, the friendship and support in it.

Please don't steal my photos or try to fav pics of my kids if you have no photos in your stream or all your favs are of children. I will block you. Sorry, but it's creepy.
