i am a photographer - and environmentalist - based in adelaide, south australia

though 'liam jon' is a legitimate contraction of my full name, you can find extensive sets of my landscape shots under my 'usual' name - bill doyle -on my unknownsa site, and examples of the campaigns i'm involved in via the journal http://unknownsa.blogspot.com/

i'm currently spending so much time campaigning to get a uranium mining company out of the arkaroola wilderness sanctuary that i've little time for much else! this includes commenting, joining groups etc. here on flickr

i don't like capital letters - and have a strong preference for the dash in punctuation!

i'm no fan of the full stop, either, but i do favour the deadpan three stop runout... apparently this is called an 'ellipsis', and i'm just the kind of guy who would look that up!

i also have a tendency to use the word 'hovercraft' somewhat out of context

tag your photos well, folks: here's a selection of some of the organisations i have received requests to use images in my photostream from -

adelaide and mount lofty ranges natural resource management board
adelaide independent weekly
adelaide thinkers in residence program
australian conservation foundation
harper collins australia (front cover)
the migration and settlement museum

outdoor australia magazine
