Nicole retired from her position as a Senior Sales Executive with Gillette Oral-B several years ago.

Dave & Nicole live in Minnesota, with Maulie - a very small, very spoiled dog. They enjoy spending time at a family cabin on Pine Island in Lake Vermillion in northern MN when they can - and largely as much time as they're able in gardens, yard, etc., enjoying their time at home (incl a fair bit of remodeling and landscaping in last few years), and planning next travels.

Since their marriage in May of 2001, they've enjoyed traveling to San Diego, San Francisco and Napa Valley, Maui, Hawaii, Europe, the Mediterranean (Italy, Greece, Turkey, France and Spain) in May 2005 for their 4th Annivesary, French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, Raiatea, Tahaa, Huahine) in May 2007 for their 6th Anniversary, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands in the British West Indies in 2009 for their 8th Anniversary, and most recently, Paris and Provence in June 2010 for their 9th Anniversary.

Dave worked and lived in India for nearly a year in 2005 - 07, and Nicole joined him for several months as they traveled across India (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur & Rajasthan, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coorg, Mysore, Chennai, and Goa). Dave also lived and worked more recently for several months time in the UK (2006 - 2007), where Nicole joined him for travel around London for some weeks.

Nicole was born in Texas but grew up in Minnesota, with a short time in Colorado. Dave grew up across the United States including many years in San Diego & southern California (born in Oceanside), Kaneohe Bay in Oahu Hawaii, Washington D.C., Falls Church Virginia, Camp Lejeune North Carolina, Quantico Virginia, Springfield Illinois, Omaha Nebraska, Wayzata Minnesota, and Bloomington Minnesota.
