I live in Porsgrunn, a town on the south-eastern coast of Norway known for heavy industry and a porcelain factory. I am from Oslo. After working some years as librarian in different parts of the country I have settled down here. I like litterature and music. I play the piano, but I must confess that I practice less after I got a digital camera and signed up at flickr and the french photo site Fond ecran. I learnt some french at school in the early seventies (before most of you were born I suppose). My English is far better than my French, but I like French and I want to practice as much as possible. Thus I make texts and tags in French and comments as well.

I love nature, hiking, being outdoors and I want to be environmentally friendly. I use my 7-speed bicycle as much as possible and I love rowing a little light dinghy between the skerries. I bring my little Olympus mju mini camera with me on my tours, it is so convenient when I walk on steep, rocky paths. My husband and I have bought a Canon EOS 40D recently, quite a dinosaur in comparison.
