I have been taking photos as long as I can remember - my Dad was a professional photographer until the 70's in Newcastle, and took some of the early promo pix of the Animals in the 60s. I still have some shots of Frank Zappa and Genesis from Newcastle City Hall that I developed myself in his darkroom.

I love taking photos of just about anything, especially wildlife, although a lot of my best shots are unfortunately of the captive kind. I am hoping that our passion for walking will lead to some great shots in the next few years.

However, my biggest thrill in photography has to be getting one of my Dad's Animals pictures published on Eric Burdon's website almost 20 years after he passed on.

In early 2009 I packed in full time work to concentrate on photography and try and make some money out of my favourite hobby. I've done a lot of walking and a lot of shooting and finally the sales are starting to mount up. I have had work published in a number of newspapers, magazines and books and on websites in the UK, USA and Japan.

Please don't use my stuff without permission (or preferably payment!). I'm open to invites but may refuse, and I categorically REFUSE to comment on photos of feline quadripeds. Also please do not make me a contact if your profile is blank and/or you have no photos to view - if you do, I will block you.

I am also a one man prog/ambient/metal band called Candy Apple Red. Few people of heard of this seminal "group" but friends who have heard it think it's not the worst thing that has ever passed their ears. See the link below for details!
