Because, he is certainly no longer a beginner in photography, has updated his gear and is now producing even more compelling images, and if you check his photostream you will see photographic evidence that he is way beyond a "pretty handy lawn bowler".
  
  One of the many things that impresses me about bugalugsrox is the thought, time, and creativity that goes into his shots. I know from our discussions that some of his shots he plans for a long time, weighing up options in his mind and waiting for the right conditions. He gives his art respect and attention, and the results are always first rate, often brilliant.
