Photography for me is a means to explore concepts and ideas that interest and trouble me; it presents to me an opportu­nity to look at the otherwise complex and confusing world in the form of a distilled two-dimensional image that is simpler and easier to comprehend. In the process it also gives me freedom to express myself in the same image, in a clear and concise manner. Through my photographs I strive to exploit the idiom of documentary photography, to wheedle out visual narratives by revealing subtle details, making connections apparent and informing insights into my subjects.

Flickr is where I used to post my images before joining the photography course at National Institute of Design. These images now serve as a reminder to me of the way I had started photography. You can see my current work here..
