I've got craft ADD. You name it, I've tried it. :) I love almost anything - every color, though earth tones, blues, browns and dark greens are my favorites.

I'm from NJ, USA, married to my best friend Terry since Feb 22, 2006. :) I'm 26 years old. We've got a little girl named Emma (Born Dec 08) and she's the best thing that's ever happened to us. My husband was born and raised in the UK, and moved to the USA for me. I've been quilting for a while, and I'm learning how to perfect my hand-quilting. I've only ever made a few miniature quilts, but I've been making larger quilts for a while now. I'm a pretty open book, so if you'd like to know something just ask. My grandmother (now 86) started to teach me how to sew when I was little. I've only ever taken 1 quilting class, and it was a disaster, so I'm primarily self taught. (My bindings still kind of stink).

As for colors I like, I like it all. I'm not overly fond of pepto-bismal pink and vomit green, but other than that I'll love it (Oh, I'm not really a fan of Amy Butler fabrics, but they are growing on me). I'm a big fan of trying my own things, and putting my own twists on traditional blocks. Every time I go to work with triangles, my points are off by a bit, no matter how many times I measure, or re-measure and press. I cant seem to get them right. I'm trying though. I'm not a fan of clowns at all. When I was little I was dropped by one, and ever since then I've been freaked out with them. I hyperventilate when I'm in the same room as one and have to leave.

I'm in search of 5 or 6 inch squares of food fabric. My husband LOVES food, and for his 30th birthday I'd love to make him a food quilt. If you have any, could you let me know and we can (maybe? hopefully?) swap!

One of my goals is to swap a mini quilt (15x15 - 20x20 inch or under) with someone from every state in the USA and as many countries as possible - so if you're interested in swapping with me, please Flikr mail me. I'm in NJ, USA and obviously willing to ship internationally.
