I'm best known for my bubble photos. I started out by trying to capture reflections in eyes. I'd always loved the scene in Bladerunner where the fires are reflected in an eye. Having captured reflections in eyes, I then used the same techniques on bubbles. Hey presto!

As of 6th March 2010 I've reduced some of my image sizes right down to 500 pixels width, so there's no chance of people copying my high quality images. It's pained me to do this, as the image quality has dropped horribly. The originals are stunning. Hop on over to Redbubble (link below) to see examples at full size. I have contracts with press agents (Barcroft Media), so if you are a magazine or newspaper and want to use my photos either go direct to Barcroft or contact me via flickrmail, and I'll send you in the right direction.

I use a Nikon D90 (DSLR), a Sigma 300mm f/2.8, Sigma 150mm f/2.8 hsm macro, and a Nikon 50mm f/1.4 af-s.

Flickr has been good to me, and helped me get a bit of photography fame. I'm best known for my popping bubble photos. They were featured in the UK national press in July 2009, Vanity Fair, and in Digital Camera magazine. They've also been mentioned on GMTV, Good Morning America, and other TV programmes. I have become "the bubble master", the "King of Pop" etc. Have a look at my bubble set to see why.

If you want to contact me to ask questions etc, then please do, by flickrmail. I've answered every question so far!

People often ask me how I get bubbles to be different colours and textures. Have a look at this short video, by Jane in Colour, and you'll see how and why:
