DixieThunder-Aiken chapter of ABATE of South Carolinaactively monitors motorcycle-related legislation on local, state, and federal levels.
We encourage all members to become politically involved, to effect positive legislation towards maintaining freedom of choice.

We are dedicated to the premise that the individual is best suited to decide the type of motorcycle to ride, type of safety gear to be worn, and personal lifestyle so long as we do not harm others.

We work to educate the general public about motorcycles, and the responsibilities while sharing the road with motorcycles, through avariety of motorcycle-awareness events throughout the year.

We assist in the sponsorship of fund-raisers for operating expenses and charitable causes. These events provide opportunities forpeople to join together, have a good time, and share experiences andideas for the betterment of motorcyclists in South Carolina.

Weare the only Aiken County motorcyclists organization devoted to Freedom of the Road and Liberty for all motorcyclists.
