  I think we met in one of the still life groups. Over this period of time that I've known Diana, I understood that she is one of the most talented and creative photographers in Flickr space.   "Having known Diana only a short while, I still have a deep appreciation for her photographic art. Unlike others, I have not seen how she and her art have grown, but I see them both as I do today - Utterly breathtaking.
  
  Each image looks so magnificent - so painterly without being a painting. Just looking at them takes me to a world of long ago and forgotten riches where the Greeks and Romans would eat and play. Although they don't have that much of an antiquated look, they do have a timeless, classic look. That is something as a photographer I strive for constatnly. Diana has perfected it.
  
  My first taste of still life art was a painting at my grandparents home of bread, wine, cheese and fruit. That image is burned into my mind by my studying it, hour after hour when we would visit their home. I cannot help but be enthralled by Diana's images in the same way.
