I live in Reading in England, although I take most of my pictures at the weekends when I generally try to explore the country. I own a couple of aging film SLR's (a Praktica LTL and a Canon AE-1) though sadly they are both currently unused. I now have a Canon EOS 50D DSLR. I also have a point and shoot camera - a Sony DSC-P200 which I started this photosteam with.

I frequently use Photoshop CS4, but I prefer to get images right in the camera first (SOOC), so I try and limit this to cropping and straightening wonky horizons(!); if I need to I may tweak levels, curves and make minor colour adjustments or convert to mono. I always shoot in RAW format and process all my images in Adobe Camera RAW.

I like order and organisation; therefore my photo titles are simply file names (this is how they are filed on my PC so it makes sense). To make up for this I always include lots of other information such as:
- Location
- Date & Time
- Description of what is in the image
- Brief history or added information on the subject
- I link to alternative views, images, or external information
- I always geotag where it is physically possible

I really like the Gallery feature, and I am building a showcase of what I consider to be some of the best work on Flickr. Please do take a look and more importantly take a look at the photographers that have been highlighted.

4) To take a portrait photo that I like (that rules out all self-portraits!)
