I'm 48 years old, I got my first camera 25 years ago and was hooked when I fluked into a good image. I transfer fairly often with my job so have had great opportunities to learn about and photograph some pretty diverse areas.
Favorite subjects are: wildlife, scenics and musicians on stage.
Would like to start doing more portraits and people oriented work.
Camera gear: Minolta 7D, Panasonic LC1 in digital with Mamiya RZ67, Maxxum9, Contax G1 film. Still haven't found my dream system but concentrate more on shooting than equipment now.

"Ray's a great guy a real straight shooter you could say. I first met him at a photography exposition for the camera club.
I still remember the main photo he had displayed, it was an image of a boat reflecting on the water.
The next image was of a coast guard rescue operation in progress on the open ocean. This one can be found on his stream if you dig deep enough.
I can only remember 4 other images from that showing of about 60 so for 2 of his to have struck a cord with me says something about the quality of his work.
