I'm a 21 year old student, studying Nursing.

My one hobby is photography, and I wish I had more time for it. I've always carried a camera around, but only decided to get a "professional" camera about 3 years ago. I started with a Canon EOS 35mm, which I loved. It taught me a lot about photography, but it also cost me a lot to develop my film. But ... the girl at CVS who did it for me was really cute, so I continued to do it. About a year ago I gave the camera to my best friend and upgraded to a Nikon D40. I used that for a good year, and just upgraded to a D80, which I absolutely love.

Photography takes my mind away from the usual stresses and strains of everday life, and gives me the ability to freeze time. To capture a moment, a person, a place, or an object in at a point in time that will never be repeated. Ever.

Something about the sound of my shutter really gets me going.

I can't spell to save my life.

Not being able to find a title for a picture can hold me back from posting it for hours or even days.

I like constructive criticism, and always try to give it... even if it sounds harsh.
