  "I don't want to get all long winded but what I have seen with my naked eye is what candy is to a child, that first taste so sweet on the tongue, the texture the wonderful flavor all meshes together quite deliciously. Composition, light, color, symmetry, yes of course all of that; but, it is the life that she brings to her photos its the calling of the photo, it call to you to engage yourself or immerse yourself into that little moment in time. I hope this makes sense, I only wish that some day when my daughter weds she will come to America to honor me with her lovely work. Best to you my dear Sister."

  "Wenn ich über Hochzeitsfotografie nachdenke, kommt mir immer in den Sinn, dass dies eine Königsdisiplin ist. Das merke ich daran, dass es nur sehr wenige Fotografen gibt, die einen wirklich berühren. Ein von diesen ist Frau "Motivsucher" ;) Sie scheint immer die "perfekten" Paare zu haben, immer das perfekte Wetter und die perfekten Locations. Und da dies niemals realistisch ist, muss es auf das Können von Doris ankommen.
  
  Man sieht auf den Fotos, wie viel Freude die Models bei diesen Shootings haben müssen. Die geniale Bildaufteilung, die netten und teilweise lustigen Ideen machen jedes Fotos zu etwas Besonderem. Auch wenn ich nicht auf diese typischen Hochzeitsfotos stehe, ich fühle mich im Flickr-Stream von Doris immer gezwungen, genauer und länger hinzuschauen. Und deshalb gehört "Motivsucher" auch zu meinen Lieblingskontakten - immer in Erwartung auf etwas Neues. Mach bitte weiter so!"

Ich habe mir alle Bilder (und das sind nicht wenige) angeschaut und kaum ein Genre entdeckt, wo sie keine guten Bilder gemacht hätte. Trotzdem sind meine persönlichen "Lieblinge" ihre Portraits und Hochzeitsbilder, die trotz des gezwungenermassen gestellten Rahmens immer sehr einfühlsam und in ihrer Art individuell geblieben sind. Ich hoffe das sie uns auch weiterhin noch viele schöne Bilder schenken wird."
