I feel essence of 365 projects is about thinking about moments of shutter click to capturing a story idea view field vision environment, and all that. at the end of 365 and 52 weeks projects people mature into new level of photographer. I feel like beginning to end of such is a flip book of increasing depiction of progression slowly -- illustrates growing maturing creating even conjuring potentials and opportunity thus opens up as someone going through the process would be immense than one who appearing without. Gem can be found I think. Gem may appear out of nowhere. Jeweler as much as designer and accountant of moments even. All that I think is possible. Possibility should reward, patience, or optimism, self reliance, ideas, and wanting to be. Being I think, and writing about. Like pasta with great sauce and toppings, and antipasto that came before and secondi, images tell story and an ending. Ending does foretold future or story continues. Sequel and prequel. Self. Identifying. Seeing is believing. Following heart. ever so softly. Rendering. creating. Re-doing, re-reading, re-enacting. Presenting. Artistry. Creativity. Many words to describe. I think that's essence of photography from one image, series, I feel and takes me away, floats my thoughts, leads me to brilliance.

January 23, 2012. I am forming a campus club for Art Department Art Practice major students and anyone interested in art practice. I have met with Department Chair, students, and began discussion about art practice more frequently. I made friends in Graphic Design department. Jason Sturgill, MFA student, two undergrad students Corbin LaMont, Ryan Bush both excellent graphic design students with great portfolio works done and staged on website. Graphic Design department is doing great work advocating portfolio importance and makes it easy for them to get work experience from school work to resemble real life work. Their process concept craft and other theme category makes it easy to blend right into workplace and client mode when graduating from PSU.

January 20, 2012. Friday. I drove to Los Angeles by loaner car from Mini of Portalnd. Countryman in standard/stick shift. I don't know how to drive standard so I learned my way as I drove. I stalled it about 40 times the weekend. I picked up my art supplies for Advanced Painting I from my room at my parent's house. about 30 canvas and 10 or so old painting too. I stuffed it all into the car and drove back. 15 hours drive each way about 1200 miles or so each way so 2400 miles were put on the loaner. My mini clubman was in the shop for major repair under warranty. I met with my wife who flew in on Wednesday to have her baby shower at her BFF Carolyn's apartment unit in Marina Del Rey, CA. She met with her 20 close friends and had good time. Got to spend with her brother's family finally two nephews. I sent my regards. We did stay over night at Ellen, our mutual friend who adopted our dog Gilbert, bijan poodle miniature. She and her dog Pipsy (blood hound dog) got used to Gilbert. Ellen's house Venice, CA house has backyard front yard and huge rooms and many household members for play with than 2 bedroom apartment for a dog would feel cramped. So it was good decision to have him live with Ellen. I cut Mr. Pipsy's nails like I used to do monthly when I lived in Los Angeles. I left at noon to drive back Portland home.

January 11, 2012. I was accepted to Portland State University (PSU). Received letter of acceptance around 5pm from mailbox. School started on January 9, 2012. November 7, 2011. 10 am now. Wife is sleeping. And I woke up to boom boom boom kids upstairs running and jumping around. Sounds like Wii rock band drum. My heart beat went up. boom boom boom. I can hear my heart beat racing in my ear veins popped and I can hear my own heart beat racing with boom boom boom boom boom boom boom. I was supposed to go to Safeway grocery story. But I couldn't go. I was wrestling with thoughts racing too. Wife is five months now. Next week we can find out about the gender of the baby. Then we can find out about pink or blue for the baby clothes and baby name. Getting some banana, crossant, and breakfast stuff for wife and I at Safeway local grocery store on Allen Blvd and Murray Blvd. My name change is going along. Got my date set for court hearing at the probate department. It will be on November 30, 2011. After thanksgiving day. 9am. I am hoping to become Parker Michael Knight. Then, running errands for fun at the post office and DMV to change my name and getting new license photo done and putting old one on key chain to my wife's keys. Then, I can do the Passport and Social Security and VA and VA hospital and write to my younger brother who is DDS dentist in LA and tell him I am Parker now. I was never called by my Korean names which is hard to be called past 22 years and it seems right to me to change it. I don't even dream myself in that name. I will send this to Nurse case manager and wife by email. And now I can go to get my breakfast grocery. It's 11:46 am.

September 30, 2011. My girlfriend and I, got married at Hillsboro at Washington County Court by Judge Donald L. Going back to court house to get some certified copy of marriage license on Friday October 7, 2011. I am changing my last name from Oh to Knight -- her name right now. That way our children will suffer less bullying at school when they grow up. I felt that's something I can help them with. She's three months pregnant. ^_^

August 2011. I moved to Beaverton OR 97007 Murray Blvd and Farmington (10). I am enjoying Portland area. Cool weather in September. 85 degrees high. Shaded by tall trees everywhere. I had to drive based on where I want to get an item from Craigslist. Treasure Hunt -- of some sort. And get to meet people and eat lunch at a random place.

My girlfriend wanted to live in Portland area. So I granted her wish and moved here and rented apt here in SW Portland called Beaverton Neighborhood area. Rent is $735/month for 810 sq ft two bedroom one bath with two carports parking in front of unit. Each unit is part of 4 units per floor 3 story building and there are about 200 units here. many buildings with tall 50-100 ft trees around here shaded. Great lease office staff and two 24-hour on-call maintenance workers who does good work. There is no Sales Tax. And gas pumps is operated by attendant (full service for everyone). Bicycle lanes are full 7 feet wide all over downtown portland and has Street Car (electric), MAX (surface light rail cars) from Beaverton to Portland Downtown to Gresham (NE Portland area). $1 for Disabled/65+/Medicare Card Holder in all zone including bus and light rail and transit rail one way. Bike Lanes on almost all major surface street with signal lights (has separate bike lane) unusable by cars. No smog. Green. Trees everywhere. There are parks(nature preserve) within each city and neighborhood. Zoo too within city limit. Santa Monica to East LA is about 35 miles. Portland is like 20 miles wide and it's 9 miles from here to Downtown Portland and has light rail near here. Well developed and planned since 20 years ago. No Sales Tax. Many microbrew everywhere. Just went to Hair Salon where they gave me two IPA with haircut (my girlfriend's haircut, but she drove so I drank two pints IPA) and two bagel. Photos uploading now. Check it out. Did I mention this 200 unit apt does not let any criminal live here. so. no convicted people live in any apt here in Portland Oregon area. I don't know where they have to live. But not here I guess (no sex offender). Quiet. Well constructed apartment with washer/dryer newer in a closet per each unit. Every unit has its own washer dryer unit (not small stackable. Full Size with Super Load size GE models white). All electric no gas though. Electricity is PGE Portland General Electric, Cable TV and Internet is Comcast (monopoly for two utility). and half mile to Light Rail Station on my bike. Nike HQ and Intel Semiconductor company has manufacturing facility here and R&D for Nike. Adidas too. Rolling hills car ride almost rural. Free Valet at hospitals if not free parking. At target store here, no line forms, maybe 10 customers and so great customer service. Smiling attendant clean bathroom. Police actually talked to me without pulling out their handgun. No LAPD type here. Dogs friend apt. Did I mention APT rent is $735 and deposit was $300? $300 not two months apt rent like Mar Vista. I moved here by mailing stuff via UPS to UPS STore mailbox. If you want to move here you can mail your stuff to UPS Store mailbox too I can setup one for you to mail to week before you physically drive here. Two days drive.
