I am a self taught landscape photographer, based in the west of Scotland. I work shifts, and this combined with the good old Scottish weather means I am not able to get out as often as I'd like to take photographs.

I included the quite from Alain Briot above, as it kinda sums up how I feel about my photography better than anything I could have written or said.

I use a Canon Eos 5D for my landscapes and borrow my wifes Nikon D80 for other things. I use hi-tech filters, and a manfrotto tripod. That's about it really.

I tend not to reply to comments often, don't think I'm rude or can't be bothered, I'll only do it if there's a comment that makes a point I think I should add in response, or asks me a question about technique etc.

One thing though - I'm not a fan of forced commenting, so will not add my photos to groups that have these rules - I comment on photos that I like - not the one before me in a group, so please don't stick an invite onto the page. Any flashy invites to forced comment groups will be deleted, as will things saying they've seen my work in groups where it isn't shown.

Please enjoy my pictures, I appreciate your comments and any constructive critisim. If you have specific questions about a technique etc, feel free to email.

I've also had a couple of pretty inflamatory posts on my shots. If you post something outrageous, you'll be blocked. Simple. The same goes for people advertising businesses (such as shoe websites) on my photos, honestly, it happens!
