Getting on in years now, I have been taking photographs since I was a teenager.
Although I use a digital camera I still like to explore the possibilities, and the 'Arty' nature of old film cameras, 6x6 folders and the like. I don't think I have a photographic style, I just take pictures according to the camera I have in my hands at the time, although I like to photograph in colour and appreciate it's subtleties my real love is black and white, it is direct, poetic, expressive and enduring.
I have learned that great pictures often lie under your nose and along paths trod a thousand times, the trick is to be alert and to recognise an opportunity when it presents itself.
