Hey fellow Flickr friends. I'm Cheryl Fjermedal. I am a struggling photographer from Tacoma, Washington. In the last year I've realized that I'm on a journey. I found that I view everything as a photograph Every a laugh, every cloud, that look... Everything is a 'Kodak moment' to me. My eyes are glued to my viewfinder both on my nikon and on my lame cell phone camera. I've learned how to live through that lens, how to tell stories, tell truths, capture smiles. And keep for and eternity, moments that may have been lost forever.

My camera is an extension of my soul. It never lies to me. Its a storybook of my life and the lives of those I've photographed. With this camera I've laughed till I cried, sang at the top of my lungs, experienced love and pain, danced with my best friends, discovered love through music, had sleepless nights, discovered who I REALLY am, had the time of my life, slept on rooftops, made mistakes, witnessed beauty in it's simplest form, danced in the rain, experienced infamy and euphoria, inpsired and have been inspired, Kissed the earth, hugged a tree, fed the elephants, felt the warmth of a pacific sunrise, stargazed, mini golfed at midnight, held hands under fireworks, swam in the ocean, sang lullabies, made brownies for lunch, cooked at 3 am for my friends, ran through a snow storm, attempted harmonica, slept on the floor of a bus, chased sunsets with my camera, and best of all, I've met the most incredible people in the world. It's been amazing so far... and this is only the beginning. How can I capture your incredible life?
