I am a doctor...not medical but a PhD, who has a job as a Head Microbiologist for a small family-run company in Chester. Before my current job I was a sales assistant in Virgin Megastore, I quit that job because everyone was telling me that I should aim higher (I still loved the job though!). I LOVE music, and am extremely passionate about it. I go to approx 3 gigs a week, as well as work, which makes me constantly tired.
I am not a professional photographer but I love taking photographs with my digital camera..especially concert photographs and landscapes (as I also enjoy walking and the countryside). Like I said I am NOT a professional photographer and I only possess a simple Camera: Olympus u410D, It has an automatic focus and that is all, so if the focus is bad...blame the camera!
I have NEVER possessed a photopass in my life, therefore, with the rock concert/gig photographs, all the camera shots have been taken right in the thick of a bustling audience, which also prevents me from taking perfect angle shots and compositions, as I have never had the chance to walk along the section allocated to rock concert photographers!! Usually at gigs all I take phototgraphs of is hands and arms from the audience in front or next to me!
