My name is Zara and I currently live in Finland with my family.

I started taking pictures because "I really had to" build a portfolio of my baked goods. I did not like it much but still I started reading about photography and asking tips from friends so I could get better pics of my products.

Before I noticed I had become a photo-addicted and (almost) always have my old Nikon coolpix 4600 with me. It's great advantage is that it fits in any pocket and has proven to be very resistant to not-so-careful handling.Most photos here have been taken with it.

Of course it has its limitations and very recently I finally decided to challenge myself by entering the world of the DSRL cameras with a Nikon D3000. Now there's a whole new world to explore!
