I have been interested in photography for most of my life, but it was not until I took photography in high school that I really got bit by the photography bug. In the late 80's I bought a medium format camera and started to do photography as a sideline, When we bought a new house I had to take down my darkroom, my interest in photography diminished, and I got away from it for a while. In 2008 I bought a Nikon D40 and got bit all over again. I am in the process of experimenting with this new process called digital photography.

I am immensely interested in history, I will include information about my more historical photography subjects if I can find any. Because of this love for history, I am a Civil War re-enactor, and many photographs of Civil War re-enactments that I attend will be posted here. I am a delegate with the U.S. Christian Commission

I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Praise God I have been free from it for 5 years
