  "In Southwest Girl's profile she talks about "gracious Flickr friendships and shared interest in the beauty of photography". I don't know which I appreciate most--her friendship or the beautiful photos she shares with all of us. Guess I would have to say it's a draw. Her brilliant shots (especially of our native desert flowers and plants) are always a treat. SWG's photos also carry a bonus--not only do we get to view her eye-pleasing photos, she also tells us about the plant, place or animal. I have lived in Arizona for over 40 years and am just now learning about native flowers and some of our desert critters. Like that overused quote from Forest Gump with a twist--SWG's photos are "like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get". Another SWG trait I admire is the love she has for her Father. I lost my Dad several years ago, he was into making videos of flowers and I am so sorry that he never saw my still photography. I live vicariously through my sweet friend in that regard--the photos that she's posted where she mentions her Dad convinces me that my Father would have supported me in pretty much the same way. Thank you sweetie for your wonderful photos and your kindness--both are greatly appreciated."
