I am now a 62 year old surfer in North Central California (crap how did that happen already). This is my 54th year in the water by my count. I still live what I call Aqua Life and life is good. As you visit my photos you will note that waves have held my attention for most of my life. I choose not to do sails, handles, wind, paddles or kites. My joints have endured use beyond reason and I need to propagate them. Here in NOR/CEN-CAL the Surf is powerful, cold, rockey, isolated and considered sharky. Northern surf types are diverse and robust. Collectively and individually their all rather special.

What is the true meaning of Dawn Patrol?
It is standing in the dark cold air, becoming zen like and getting undressed and then walking into the rocky, friged ocean for Joy. When you live this reality you will learn said meaning.
