I've been happily married to Barbara for 32 years. We have 2 children, Andy and Carrie, both married. I was a firefighter, a police officer, and an EMT; but I retired after 28 years from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. I've been a Christian longer than I've been a firefighter.
I'm a member with the Kalamazoo Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited (KVCTU).
I like shooting old film cameras, but I also have a Nikon D50 and a digital point and shoot. My current favorites are the D50 and a Bronica ETRSi.
I recently started a part time job for the local community college as a police officer. I have a patrol car again, but most of the time I'm on foot, walking the campus, making sure the students can enjoy their time learning and making a better future for themselves.
