Nostalgic T+ Allan's photostream  

Use to be 99% of the time a rubbish (but still an enthusiastic & prolific) photographer - With some of my Flickr buddy's help now down to 79% as SOME of them work out OK!

I use a Fuji Finepix 31fd (used to have a Finepix F10 until I lost it!) A Fuji Finepix S610 Zoom and a new Fuji Finepix S8000fd and a backup S5 something or other - Now also have the new Fuji F200EXR as well - so the 31fd has been demoted to underwater casing use!

I point shoot and then regret I didn't do it better !

I have to take professional product shot pictures for my job - but I enjoy most of all my personal pics - My pictures are Travel Memories - some 6* Dubai Hotels & some Tin Can Shack in a South African township actually building a feeding shelter for AIDS orphans..with my partner.........

.What I hope I can learn - how to do right first time every time - we never get a second chance! I want to do sharp accurate photographs which will then hopefully mean that the pictures I take for pleasure have high quality....

My partner Allan is a much better photographer than me - he understands all the technical stuff - and is far better than me framing & composing pictures - but he also has a Canon EOS 350, EOS40 & Canon G9 - Some of his photos are in my photosteam and sets - I have tried to credit him with the ones that are his & also put them in Allan's Amazing Photos Set

Worst EVER photographic experience - having spent 5 days in Dubai for my 50th Birthday photographing everything I could, I left my camera and ALL my memory cards in a taxi - Huge loss - didn't give a stuff about the camera - but 4GB of pictures gone still hurt!
