"There must be a hundred million flower photos on flickr, and a hundred thousand flower photographers, but there are very very few that realize that pointing the camera at something “pretty” is akin to translating a great poem with only a dictionary. ffB shoots photos that stand on their own because she understands that the photos themselves must have atmosphere and context. In a way, her photos are rather like flowers because they are *not* perfect, but each has true character."
