I have always loved "taking pictures" but it wasn't until I became interested in scrapbooking, that I started to see what was in my viewfinder in a different light and a different way. Now I look for the unusual and hard to see besides just the beautiful or breathtaking. I just received my first DSLR a few months ago, and am having a lot of fun discovering all the new things that I can do with a camera.
My favorite subject to photograph is nature, especially landscapes and seascapes, altho' with the capabilities of the DSLR, I am having a lot of fun trying to get some great macro shots, and my garden provides me with most of my exprimentation opportunities.
