Jonathan Lane has been taking photographs since his teens, at first working in black and white, then moving on to transparency and more recently embracing digital technology. With an early appreciation of the open landscapes of his native Norfolk, his love of walking, cycling and the open air has produced over the past forty years a large and varied portfolio. The enduring theme is of natural light and its many and subtle changes. He has lived in Bristol for some 25 years and still finds pleasure and inspiration in photographing the varied rural and urban environment in the West Country and further afield.
