I bought a Nikon D40 in 2007 because I kept missing the best expressions on my grandson's face with my old P&S. Up till then I used a camera to take snapshots on vacation, at parties, etc.

Now, I've been bitten by the photography bug. I'm discovering how much I have to learn. But it sure is fun trying.

You will find that I don't stick to a particular type of photography. I like flowers, bugs, landscapes, macro, rocks, lichen, fungus, smiling people, and whatever comes to my attention.
