I’m a librarian. I love to take pictures.

I had a baby! It was hard. I have a wonderful husband and three delicious hams. I also live with my younger sister.

The nursery I created for my daughter Isobel was featured on etsy, ohdeedoh, and spearmint baby. I have a recipe featured on apartment therapy’s the kitchn. I was once interviewed by NPR and I got to say “butt wiggle” on the radio.

You can find me on ravelry where I learn crochet and knit. I’m also on twitter where I discuss my meth neighbors and the previous night’s dreams. I spend a lot of time at thrift stores and flea markets pursuing my love of vintage.

My swearing has been described as “nautical.”

I have a passion for creating terrariums and my favorite plants are succulents. I’m often cooking and doing a lot of experimenting in the kitchen. What I make for dinner usually goes in my bento for lunch the next day. I never pass up a chance to eat pomegranates and I love all kinds of cheese.

I’m a novice at embroidery and I spend a lot of time reading and listening to music. Although I live in suburbia I toy with the idea of owning chickens and goats. I find mushrooms to be both tasty and beautiful.
