I'm a professional travel photographer, instructor, writer, consultant, and speaker on the topics of travel photography and digital imaging.
I'm on the faculty of the International Center of Photography and the New School in New York City and lead photo workshops with The American Photo/Popular Photography Mentor Series, Strabo Tours and International Expeditions. I love shooting around the world as well as leading workshops to help people learn to see and photograph better.

I left a successful career in law to pursue my passion of travel photography. My work has been used in dozens of publications including The New Yorker, Travel Holiday, PDN, Popular Photography, Digital Camera, Asian Photography, Shutterbug, The New York Times and Discovery. Clients include Nikon, Lowepro, The Travel Channel and many international tourism offices, travel companies and book publishers.
