"I was first drawn to Ashley's photostream after looking through her series on old abandoned homes. The way she captured them, it was like traveling back in time. But it didn't take me long to see how talented she is at photography and post processing as a whole. Her portraiture work is classic and leaving you wanting to see whats next. Each photo isn't a snapshot, but a masterpiece with her heart and soul poured into it. Overall, Ashley is an amazing photographer in every sense of the word. And, Im very happy to see her back on flickr."

"Ash is one of the people who have inspired me the most on Flickr. The one thing that I aways notice in her photos is the attention to detail. From the moment the image is captured in camera when she chooses her subject and carefully plans the composition. Every detail is masterfully brought together to create something amazing! Again when she processes the images and turns a photo into a work of art. She pays attention to every detail, adds just the right amount of texture and the perfect tone. I love photos that the artist has created a mood and Ash is very good at doing this. The future looks bright for Ash and I can't wait to see what it holds for her!"

    Sunset Sailor says:

"I don’t hesitate to use the term, photographer, in describing the work of Bottle Bell Photography’s, Ashley. One need only read the quote she posted from Robert Frost, “No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader…”. This quote hints at the essence of Ashley’s photographic philosophy. There are few, if any, snapshots here. She seems to have an inner psychic recognition with regard to what’s required to represent a particular mood. You can see that in each and every image. Ashley readily uses models, including herself, to portray the best of what she’s looking for in a particular image. It’s obvious that long before she hires a model, she’s thought out the scene. Like a good director, she puts her model in the perfect setting, wearing the perfect accompaniment to the mood. Then she does some magic dance that just personifies what it is she’s trying to create and poof, out comes this fantastic photo. Well not quite. Once the image arrives behind the lens, Ashley’s very good at rendering the best from her photos. She’s a talented digital artist. So I guess what we have here is a recipe for success. In a big pot, combine a model, director, photographer and artist. Mix well, and then sprinkle in some brain power, half a teaspoon of mood and a heaping touch of imagination: Ashley pie."

Jeff Rinehart (almost back in action) says:

"I have been closely following Ashley's photostream for several months now. There's a good reason for that. Her since of style is amazing. Her images contain a blend of romance and atmosphere which is both visually and emotionally intoxicating. She stands out among the flickr masses and is worthy of great attention.

From soulful monochrome to rich colors reminiscent of the old masters, Ashley delivers a source of inspiration for many. For the inspiration she has given me, I want to thank her from the very bottom of my heart. When I first joined flickr in March of 2007, I had no idea I would ever meet such a talented and genuinely nice person.

I look forward to seeing much more from Ashley for a very long time.

"It is such a huge pleasure looking through Ashley’s wonderful photo-stream. I see her work changing and evolving – she challenges herself and the produces work that is always a surprise.

It is hard to sum up her style; her work contains such a mixture of influences. She is by no means an ‘ordinary’ photographer, but instead creates artworks.

To look at her stream of work is like partaking in a sumptuous visual feast. Her gorgeously beautiful images work so well individually, but together create a cornucopia of delicious visual delights."
