I have always been a very visually oriented person and have had a long standing interest in photography. Though I work in what is considered a largely technical field, I find that what attracted me to software and technology is that I see it as a medium for solving problems creatively.

Most of the pictures are from various trips, but I have tried to get better about taking non-travel shots. Much of what is in my photostream of late is just me tinkering with my new camera (Olympus E-3) trying to get a better feel for how to apply it for the (still elusive) result that I am looking for.

I have never liked Photoshopped pictures, but rather try to get the best picture at the time that I take it (with mixed results as can be seen). I would love to hear about what you like/dislike about my photos and any suggestions as well.
