I'm a speech-language therapist working in the public schools in Omaha, Nebraska. I like my job, but my first love is the outdoors -- I've been an amateur naturalist since... well, probably ever since I started walking and talking!

Photography has become my hobby and my addiction over the last couple of years. I have always found so much beauty in the world, and I always seemed to see things others didn't. Now, through photography, I can let others see through my eyes, and share the magic I find all around me.

A note about post-processing: I don't have a professional caliber camera, so nearly all my shots get a run thru Photoshop for basic clean-up -- cropping, color and exposure correction, sharpness. But that's usually the extent of it, because, with few exceptions, I want the images to stay natural-looking.
