Author, photographer, publisher of The Caldor Rainbow, a "blog" website dedicated to retail findings, established myself last Fall 2006. Apart the fallen discounter Caldor, Bradlees, Ames and Kmart, I'm dedicatedly obsessed with classic Toys "R" Us stores and spend most of my retail dollars at Target.

I've also had exposure to the media, being published in The Hartford Courant in early 2008.

I mostly shoot the dead... malls, shopping centers and chain stores. Dead and vacant retail is my focus but I also seek out vestiges of diseased or long-gone retail objects and trends typically found in the crannies of today's retailers.

Aside from shooting lots of dead buildings, I'm a hobbyist photo shooter whose scope has not many limits. The primary weapon of choice currently is the Canon PowerShot SD870 IS and Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T10.

My camera collection is entirely, so far all point-and-shoot Sony cameras -- I'm by large a Sony man. The collection thus far: a now retired, broken Cyber-shot DSC-T7, Cyber-shot DSC-T10, and a slight upgrade; Cyber-shot DSC-T30 (both preferably in black). I also have a "sidearm" Cyber-shot DSC-H2 and DSC-H5 for special assignments or more leisurely, long-distance shooting.

I aim to keep most of my picture sets close to their original formats but I do edit minor aspects/corrections and downsize all of them, altering them slightly whether it be cropping, trimming, adjusting or accentuating colors and contrasts.
